Cameras

WeddingCamerasBelow is a list of recommended cameras from Amazon – cameras that take the finest quality photos and make selling your photographs a more successful venture.  Amazon is where I get all my equipment.  Amazon usually has the lowest prices and there’s no shipping fee and NO TAX (depending on where you are of course). It can’t be beat!

I have included a section for DSLR cameras and one for High Zoom Cameras from Amazon.  At the least, if you’re on a low budget, go with a high zoom camera. They are getting better and are sometimes referred to as mini SLRs.

As for those small pocket point-and-shoot cameras, I cannot recommend them for selling photographs. Don’t get me wrong there are good ones out there, but the majority of them don’t have the manual mode option for creativity and control.

I won’t go into an argument here about which brand, Canon or Nikon is better, so, drumline please, here are the DSLRs I recommend:

Below are the High Zoom Cameras I recommend. These are great for people who don’t have the budget to buy a DSLR and all the lenses. It has everything in one complete package from macro to telephoto to shooting high definition videos and more. There are advantages and disadvantages, but I won’t get into that here. Check them out below:

Personally, the majority of the photographs I’ve sold come from my Canon 50D DSLR or my friend’s Nikon D90 DSLR. However, I also own a Sony H50 High Zoom Camera where I have made some excellent sales as well for times when I didn’t want to lug around a bag full of heavy SLR camera equipment.

Digital Photography has made things so much simpler. There’s no need for film, for developing the film, or waiting hours/days to see how your pictures turn out, and wasting film for pictures that did not turn out well. Anyways, selling digital photographs has never been easier, and the internet makes it all possible.

I have been a long time customer of Amazon and they have never failed me when it comes to Camera Equipment. My favorite is a that they have no tax! (at least not in my state)

Think about it, for a $1200 camera with an 8% sales tax from an electronics store such as Best Buy (I hate Best Buy!), that is an extra $96 which could have been used towards:

  • extra battery pack
  • Lens Filters
  • memory cards
  • a carrying case

Amazing isn’t it? Shop Amazon!!

Thanks!

P.S. Remember that Learning How to Shoot is what makes the Selling your Photographs successful! It’s not all in the camera!
